SHOT ATTRIBUTES

idd - numerical auto-generated unique ID (essential)

title - author names their edited sequences

author of footage (essential)

- original or 'sequence' `(ie. edited, note the sytem should know whenever shots are used in common in different sequences but now ther eis the problem of some edited footage being re-introduced into the db having lost their original timecode once edited)

- shot size: VD, D, PD, PC, AP, C, VC (essential/ideally auto-generated)

- time stamp; tape ID (reel); auxiliary time code (essential)

- duration: (essential/ideally auto-generated)

- genre:

- description: e.g. man smoking (essential/very short like the usual 'tag')

- camera movement: hand-held, pan, tilt, zoom in, zoom out, dolly

- three images /equivalent of automated gif from the shot / first 100 frames in + most descriptive + last shot or ideally like imovie can scoll though whole filmstrip of images (some images essential)

- quality: 0 worst - 5 best (useless without stronger characterization like acting, feeling, etc.)

- temperment - melancholic, phlegmatic, sanguine, etc. is an example of a project specific user generated limited set of values. an example from visual anthropology of the same thing would be 'activities - play, work, eating, etc.

- camera angle: bird-eye, high angle, low angle, standard (essential ??)

- facial orientation: FRONT/BACK; RIGHT/LEFT/CROSSING; profile, semi-profile, straight

- environment: exterior/interior (essential)
