Subtitle Sondtrack punk by kof
So far the program is in first testing phase. It supports SRT format for subtitles. It downloads samples from freesound.org on fly and adds them live into video preview window. Neither bold nor italics are currently supported in this version, please avoid using them.
source:
The program is written in processing language and it depends on GSVideo library. It should run on major OSes .. Win / Mac (testing on Linux)
- its source code repository: https://github.com/K0F/2011/tree/master/03-brezen/subtitler

rules:
Subtitle Soundtrack accept only plain one word or phrase subtitles. It is working well with single word tags. It supports precise timing and duration of particular subtitles.
Program asks FreeSound server for all sounds found in subtitles and then it pre-load them all in the beginning of program run. Program grabs first 30 results and then randomly select one to use. Every time the program is resulting different soundtrack.
example of plain srt file:
1 00:00:06,320 --> 00:00:07,922 beep 2 00:00:08,172 --> 00:00:11,672 oscillator 3 00:00:25,151 --> 00:00:28,956 storytelling
TO DO list:
- add support for length of samples controled by a length of subs
- add support for italics / bold to control (volume,sel different samples?)
- export into wav / mp3 / full movie with soundtrack
