Bioart, transgenic art, nebo wetware hacking - umělecké intervence do světa mikroorganismů, biologických tkání, molekulární biologie, ekologických systémů a umělé inteligence. Nový umělecký obor (nazývaný bioart, transgenic art, nebo wetware hacking) nemusí být ale omezen jenom na pokusy v dobře vybavených soukromých, nebo státních laboratořích.
